The Cottonwood Manor Complex is an incredible result of what people can do when they work together. Founded in 1994 by local businessmen William P. Anhorn and Robert J. Perry, this “built by seniors, for seniors!” complex is truly an original idea.
Cottonwood Manor is truly “independent living with a sense of community. ” As we think about the relationship between housing and the North Shore Community Centre and how each entity relies on the other for so much, we realize the sense of community is integral at the Cottonwood Manor Complex.
And that’s what Cottonwood Manor has – a strong sense of community. Community is such an important thing. It’s neighbours helping neighbours, friends having celebrations together, sharing, learning, experiencing life, and yes, sometimes hard work! There would be no point in having a building like this without people having a sense of the importance of community, and the Cottonwood Manor complex has in spades. We hope that you will consider joining our community for your next move!
